As a result, the District 36 Office staff will be working remotely during the remediation process. Families and staff can communicate with the district office via email.
The five-school district has seven full-time administrators and 42 district-level administrative support staff positions.
Tess said administrators planned to provide an update regarding the status of returning to the office space later this week.
The origin of the fire, which was contained to a single office, is currently under investigation. The estimated financial loss is likewise yet to be determined.
