Several EFL Championship clubs enquire for Troyes striker Iké Ugbo

According to Fabrizio Romano, several EFL Championship clubs have enquired for Troyes striker Iké Ugbo (24) who joined the club in the summer from KRC Genk. Romano says that the player could leave in the next few days, with the expectation that the player will return to England by the end of the transfer window.

Ugbo previously played for Chelsea’s academy, before he moved to Genk in a permanent move after several loans in England, the Netherlands, and Belgium. He previously played and scored for Genk in the Europa League.

The Canadian has played in 14 Ligue 1 games this season, scoring one goal and registering one assist in 399 minutes of football. The 24-year old played for England’s youth teams before making the switch to Canada’s national team, where he played eight international fixtures, however not appearing in Canada’s World Cup campaign despite being called up for the squad.
