Premier League side rival PSG’s offer for Milan Škriniar

Foot Mercato are reporting that an unnamed Premier League side have offered Milan Škriniar (27) better terms than those offered by Paris Saint-Germain.

The Slovakian centre-back will leave Inter Milan on a free this summer; the only question is where will he go. Škriniar has long since been linked with a move to the Parc des Princes. PSG made advances to sign the player last summer, although a transfer was never concluded. The player even struck an agreement in principle over personal terms, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.

Despite the failure to recruit the centre-back in the summer, PSG’s interest has remained. Les Parisiens were hoping to land the player on a free in the summer, and whilst negotiations have been ongoing, no agreement has been reached. A Premier League club, that for now has not been named, has now entered into the bidding and offered better terms to the Slovakian international.

Škriniar’s entourage are wanting PSG to raise their offer in line with what has been offered by the Premier League club. PSG aren’t financially capable of stealing a march on the competition by completing a transfer this month, due to the limited availability of funds, and the prioritisation of an attacker. Rayan Cherki and Malcolm are the primary targets.
