Pedestrian Struck On Fisherville Road, Taken To Concord Hospital

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are on Fisherville Road investigating a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Wednesday morning.

Limited information is available at post time. At just before 6 a.m., police dispatch received a call about a pedestrian, an elderly man, being struck near Dunkin’ Donuts. Fire and rescue teams were also called.

When the first officer arrived, they confirmed a man was down, on the ground, and was unresponsive. CPR was performed on the man while other officers went to the scene, shutting the road down at Mayflower Drive.

The fire commander requested a trauma alert be activated at Concord Hospital due to the severity of the man’s injuries. He was taken to the hospital later.

Concord General Services was also requested to post barricades on the side streets.

Officers spoke to witnesses, including Dunkin’ employees.

At post time, parts of the road are still closed.
