Elderly Woman In Bihar Fights Lioness As She Pounced On Her Goat, Suffered Injuries

In a rare incident, an elderly woman fought with a lioness as the wildcat tried to prey on her grazing goat. The woman who was identified as Meghia Devi suffered serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

News website Bihar Post reported that the incident took place on Saturday at Tahkaul village under Gaunaha block in West Champaran district. Devi who is a widow was grazing her goat near a sugarcane field outside her village when the lioness came into the field from nowhere and jumped on the goat.
