Annual Mosaic Street Painting Festival Draws Crowd Of Artists: Photos
RIVERHEAD, NY — The scene could have been a European city steeped in art and history as a crowd turned out under blue, sunny skies Sunday for the 27th Annual Mosaic Street Painting Festival in a burst of vibrant color and creativity.
The event is inspired by the street artists of Grazie di Curtatone in Italy, East End Arts, which hosts the event, said. Young and old gathered to create masterpieces downtown — and create forever memories.
“This event— the only one of its kind on Long Island—transforms the downtown Riverhead arts district into a day-long celebration of community and creativity,” EEA said.
