IPL 2023 Award Winners: In a final that stretched across three days owing to rain playing spoilsport, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings bested Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans on the last ball of a 171 run chase in a 15 over restricted final. Earlier, the match which was supposed to be played on Sunday, May 28 was moved to the reserve day on Monday. The summit clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium saw Gujarat Titans post 214/4 in their 20 overs with Sai Sudharsan smacking 96 off 47 deliveries before rain halted play. The game would resume at 12:10 AM and the chase would be powered by a crucial opening stand between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway followed by vital cameos from Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayudu and Shivam Dube before Ravindra Jadeja finished the game with a boundary off the last ball.
