New Daisy Troop Makes Donation To Animal Shelter In Manahawkin

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A brand-new Daisy troop delivered a donation to the Ocean County Animal Shelter recently.

The 12 kindergarteners from the Primary Learning Center school collected donations for two weeks before the drop-off on Feb. 24, according to Troop Leader and mom Amy Ross.

It was the girls’ first community service.

“Keep your eyes open for these girls because they’re here to make the world a little brighter,” Ross said.
