Bruce Campbell Welcomes Ash Williams to Dead by Daylight

Ash vs. Evil Dead is no longer with us, but the memories live on in Dead by Daylight on April 2.

Actor Bruce Campbell introduced his character to the game in a behind-the-scenes style video, pitch perfect to the character and the movies and series from which Ash originates.

This isn’t the first time a horror movie character has shown up in Dead by Daylight. Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger joined the Dead by Daylight roster as a killer, as well as Halloween’s Michael Myers. Ash Williams is a survivor, rather than a monstrous killer.

Ash is playable at PAX East, beginning today and running through Sunday, March 31 at the Dead by Daylight booth on the PAX East showfloor.

Dead by Daylight was announced for Nintendo Switch during the February 14 Nintendo Direct. It’s hitting the hybrid console in Q3 of this year.

Ash comes to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 April 2.
